Miss Premila Thampi

Miss Thampi is my miracle doctor! She listened when noone else would. I’d had issues since I was 19 yrs old with horrific periods and cramping, which got worse each month. I was prescribed birth control none of which touched my symptoms. I was seen by Dr Rocque at my GP surgery, she referred me to Miss Thampi, I was lucky to have private healthcare and was able to be seen at Saxon Clinic. Miss Thampi listened to me describe my symptoms, I had ultra sounds, MRIs and blood work done. I was called back in to see Miss Thampi and she had consulted another surgeon and they agreed on a diagnosis of Stage 4 Endometriosis. Miss Thampi took time to talk through options and the potential results and impacts each option could have on me and my life. She gave me time to go away and discuss my options. I will be forever grateful for Miss Thampi and her team, they were all amazing from my very first appointment and my aftercare. Y case was so severe I was in surgery for 10 hours and stayed in hospital for 9 days . I was given all the help support and guidance from being thrown in medically induced menopause to which herbal remedies could help me as I can’t take HRT. Thank you so much with all my heart, you are an amazing lady!

I saw Ms P Thampi at East Surrey hospital for chronic pelvic pain and was beyond impressed with her - she is an extremely compassionate knowledgeable professional. She was the first consultant in years (of many I have seen both NHS and private) that truly listened, understood and was extremely knowledgeable about my suspected condition (one which is often unrecognised and dismissed) as well as my other gynae conditions and previous surgeries. She also gave extremely helpful advice on menopause, my HRT regime, supplements and next steps. She truly went above and beyond, and I felt that she looked at the whole picture rather than just the main symptoms of pain. To have felt heard and understood after so many years of being fobbed off has made such a difference to my mental state, and I finally feel that there is some hope. I cannot thank this wonderful woman enough for her care.

I found Miss Thampi to be very understanding of the situation. She took the time to listen to my issues, write them down, and repeat them back so that both parties fully understood. She gave me a thorough examination and gave me her verdict with some really helpful suggestions. I would recommend any woman meet with her to discuss any issue, as she can explain it in a way that makes sense. She gave good suggestions and recommendations, and I will not hesitate to meet with her again should I need to.

After having many concerns I was delighted to have a booked an appointment with Miss Thampi who explained everything to me and my partner very clearly and was very thorough throughout our appointment about all circumstances. I cannot recommend Miss Thampi enough as she is very kind and caring and will ensure you get the tests that you need. Can't thank her enough.

Miss Thampi is a lovely, approachable doctor who makes you feel comfortable and heard. She really takes the time to listen to your issues, asks questions to investigate further, and then gives you honest and clear advice/ instruction to help with the issues. She is very warm and caring, and at the same time very knowledgeable and professional. I would absolutely recommend Miss Thampi and totally trust her.

She is a good listener, communicates very well. She takes time with you as a patient so that you get settled and gain trust. She has passion with her work. Yes, she is private but does not seem to be concerned with money, what she wants is to provide the best care and options for her patients. Dr Thampi is very knowledgeable. She explains with diagrams so that you have a full picture of what she wants you to understand. She is very professional and respects her patients.

Miss Thampi is so welcoming. She does not rush for time like what I hve seen with other Health professionals.As soon as you get to them you are out fast.But Thampi 's focus is on the patient in the room. Miss Thampi gives you time to talk explain from head to toes.Miss Thampi listens in a very reassuring way. Miss Thampi takes time to examine, carefully not in a hurry.Thampi goes on to explain her findings.She will tell you exactly how she feels about her findings. Today Im writing a review Miss Thampi has already made recommendations to my Gps so that my health issues can be met accordingly. I feel respected ,valued, listened to empowerd that soon I may have less pain or no pain. Thank you Miss Thampi and the organisation Secretary and all around.

Miss Thapi is a very kind and very careful lady .She does not make any assumptions, gave me time to talk without interrupting or being suggestive She asked me how I thought she could help. She took time to examine, not rushing and explaining what she was going to do first to ensure I was aware before carrying out any examination. Miss Thapi takes her time finding out more helping her know the patient better also the patient is allowed to express themselves. I feel her patience, her listening skills allow the gynaecologist Miss Thampi to do all she can to meet a patient's need Thank you soo much Miss Thampi also for finding out that my smear test is overdue.Its an eye opener.It was nice being attended by you and all other professionals there.
