Ms Abeysiri exudes calm and makes patients feel at ease. She takes the time to provide clear explanations about what she is going to do and the results. She is at pains to ensure the patient understands any proposed course of action or follow up. She will always ask if the patient has any questions and will answer clearly and directly. I don’t think there is anything more she can do to improve patient care.

I was very satisfied with the care and attention that I received while waiting to have my cataract operation in King Georges by Miss Poorna Abeysiri and all the staff that are working in that department I found that Miss Abeysiri explained exactly what was happening and made me feel comfortable and at ease and answered all my questions which helped to make my visit a good experience.

Very satisfied with this surgeon, she listen’s and answers all our questions, very caring , explains all that she has done and shows me. My only negative, if you could call it that, is the mask she had to wear during Covid it was like a gas mask from the war and you couldn’t hear what she was saying.
