I have been treated by this doctor for many years. She is pleasant to deal with & dealt with my case most efficiently. I have made great improvement under her care to the point that she has today discharged me to the community eye clinic. I have nothing but gratitude & respect for her.

I highly commend Ms Poorna Abeysiri who is an expert in her profession. She has performed both my eye cataract surgeries at Hendon Garden Hospital, which have been thoroughly successful. I found Ms Abeysiri to be such a dedicated, professional, kind and caring Opthalmologist, that following my first surgery I just wanted her to operate on my second eye. She was so gentle and softly spoken, informing me on all the steps that she was taking even during surgery. She gave me great comfort and full trust and confidence in her. Ms Abeysiri is clear and concise in every bit of information and advice that she has to offer and I welcomed the information that will help with aftercare too. I am really happy with my good eyesight. Thank to the successful surgeries by Ms Poorna Abeysiri.

Mrs Abeysiri has been looking after my mother for over 20 years. She always remarks how nice Mrs Abeysiri is; she takes the time to explain everything clearly and always listens to my mothers questions. I went with my mother to an appointment recently, and I was very impressed with the treatment she received. She has operated on my mother's eyes over the years and has received excellent treatment. Mrs Abeysiri recommended that my mother attend the Visual Aids Clinic, and emailed them to send her an appointment, as her eye sight was getting worse.
