Miss Thorpe was down to perform my operation on a broken tib and fib after 3 ops had been cancelled, but in the end, another surgeon did my op. I did however meet her as she operated on a fellow patient whilst I was in hospital. She was so kind and caring and genuinely loves what she does. I have since met her at my follow up appointments at the fracture clinic and she was as lovely as ever ( she remembered me although she didnt end up doing my op) she explained my xrays and CT to me in a clear and thorough way and put me at ease. I was very grateful for her expertise and advice. An asset to Liverpool NHS Trust, Aintree and Broadgreen
I have suffered leg trauma for over 35 years, in that time I've been under the care of quite a few consultants, all but one of them have been absolutely great.
However, Miss Thorpe takes it to a whole new level, I have the upmost confidence in her and not a nicer person will you ever meet. I cant speak highly enough about her as a surgeon or as a human being. Thank you Miss Thorpe.
Very caring, kind and a great sense of humour, which is great when you have suffered great trauma. She explains your injuries so you can understand easily.
