I would have posted this earlier if I had known it was here. Miss Patricia Little child performed a right frontal lobectomy due to uncontrollable epilepsy, on me in 20/9/10. That morning was my last ever siezure and having being told for years that I would never work in the care sector or drive. I now have a great career in the sector and have been driving since 2016 none of which would have been possible without the success of this operation. I could never express how grateful I am enough to do justice for what Miss Patricia Littlechild has done for me. An outstanding Neurosurgeon. Thank you for everything you have done for me. Thanks to your undeniable skills you have given me my life back and I will be forever grateful for you coming into my life for that brief time. The most difficult decision of my life but thanks to you the best one I have ever made. Forever greatful Px

Miss Littlechild listens, observes and processes with intelligence and empathy. I trust her instinctively and completely, and feel safe in her hands. She has not had occasion to operate on me but - from conversation with her - I would trust her entirely.

Miss Littlechild operated on my son in 2017 to remove a DNET brain tumour. He had been having seizures for at least 7 years previously. We were told the tumour had probably been there since birth and was very slow growing. We were initially told that surgery was not an option due to where the tumour was situated. Fortunately John Paul Leach took over as his new epilepsy consultant and explained that if we could control the seizures with medication then there would be no need for surgery but if they continued and got worse surgery could be an option. They continued and got worse. John Paul Leach arranged for us to see Miss Littlechild. We met with Miss Littlechild and she explained the risks involved but felt confident she could help my son. She answered all our questions in a very straightforward but caring manner . Since the operation he has not had another seizure I can't tell you how life changing this has been .I honestly believe that Miss littlechild and her team performed the miracle that I had been praying for. She's an amazing surgeon and I can't thank her enough. I think she's great !

Miss Little child is an amazing lady and surgeon. This wonderful person operated on my brother 10 years ago for a brain tumour, and again 13th February 2017. She is the full package in my eyes and my families, she is a good surgeon, kind and caring person, and so approachable. Thank you for all you have done for my brother. x x
