I saw doctor Vellayan for a period of a year starting with investigations that led to an operation. It was very easy to establish a rapport and I felt comfortable asking questions. I was involved in deciding the type of procedure I had. My operation went well and Dr Vellayan came to see me a couple of days later and I saw her again 6 weeks later when she confirmed all was healed as it should be. I always trusted her and felt safe in her care and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

I am so pleased that I did my research and chose Dr Vellayan as it’s obvious she genuinely cares about her patients. She is very thorough, takes the time to listen and ensured that I understood the plan before leaving every appointment. Even when I had treatment I have never felt so well afterwards which I truly believe is thanks to Dr Vellayan. Her secretary is fantastic too. She is super efficient and really friendly. I also think it says a lot when all of the staff at the hospital I was at absolutely adore her.

Dr Vellayan understood my issue and acted as soon as she could. It was great to finally speak to someone that listened and saw me through surgery that was long overdue.

Dr Vellayan performed an open myomectomy (fibroid removal surgery) on me at the Cheltenham Nuffield five weeks ago. Excellent care given throughout – before, during and after the procedure. Dr Vellayan is clear, open and honest with her professional advice. I was concerned before surgery about bruising, as I bleed easily. Dr Vellayan took this concern on board during the surgery and did an incredible job of containing and limiting bleeding and bruising. Quick and responsive advice given to a post-surgery email enquiry. I felt in very safe hands at all times.
