From the initial consultation Dr Vellayan was very kind and understanding of my needs. I immediately felt I was in good hands and my anxieties surrounding the operation diminished. Alongside this, Dr Vellayan understood my desire to have a family. She was able to allay my fears, by explaining exactly what would happen in the operation.
On the day of the operation, despite natural nerves, I felt comfortable in her hands. Her skills at laparoscopic surgery has meant that I have very little or no scarring, which has helped with my confidence post surgery.
