From my initial diagnosis to the day of the operation and post op follow up, I could not have wished for a more dedicated, professional, understanding and caring individual than I had with Miss Khan. Miss Khan answered all my questions, of which there were many, in an open and honest manner. Immediately putting me at ease with her knowledge and confidence as to how my tumour would be tackled. And critically Miss Khan was equally as concerned with trying to get the most aesthetically pleasing result for me and preserving as much as the breast tissue as possible. And she has done such an amazing job with the final result!! Miss Khan has a calming and empathetic nature, I felt totally secure in her ability to help me at this most horrendous time of my life. And this is the most that those of us in this position could hope for. I couldn’t be more pleased with the result or the treatment I have received, and will remain indebted to Miss Khan for this, and saying “Thank you” doesn’t feel enough. But nevertheless thank you Miss Khan. If any of my family or friends have the misfortune of going through something similar, they couldn’t be in better hands than Miss Khan. I didn’t just get great care I got fabulous care!

I first met Miss Lucy Khan following my diagnosis of grade 2 primary breast cancer in January 2019. From the onset Lucy was friendly, patient, understanding and confident. All great attributes at this very stressful time. Following my surgery, Lucy visited me whilst I was still on the recovery bay. She explained how the surgery 'went as planned, with no unexpected events' and reassured me for the future (as far as possible). I think it important to say that, as a patient, you hang on to such positive feedback as you constantly seek reassurrance in this dreadful situation. I'm now 8 weeks post surgery. My wounds have healed well and I am pleased to say because the incisions were 'cosmetically' placed the change in breast appearance is barely noticeable. So much better than the ugly scars my mother had from the same surgery 23years ago! Excellent care all around. And all as an NHS patient. I actually feel very lucky.Thank you Lucy!

I just wanted to follow up on a review I previously gave Lucy. I thought I was limited to characters so kept it short and sweet!! As a stay at home mummy, to two young boys and a husband who works away quite a lot, I was devastated upon discovering a lump. The next day I went to my gp who then sent me to Lucy. From the word go, she was fantastic. She treated me as a person and not an appointment, and throughout my time with Lucy, she kept me updated, well informed and made me have 100% confidence in her. Thankfully I was ok. But 4 days on, I talk of her care, even to my sons head teacher. I was fortunate to have private health care living in the Middle East for a number of years, but it is nothing in comparison to the care I received off Lucy. Thank you so much. Leanne q X
