I saw Dr Dawson regarding an ongoing issue I have and although I had not seen her before she knew my history and asked pertinent questions. She actively listened to me and made me feel like she cared with her comments, body language and her smile reached her eyes. She made good eye contact and when contacted by reception via the computer regarding some paperwork she apologised even though I was unaware. Thank you Dr Dawson for great care - both my husband and I have seen you and feel very confident in seeing you.

I had booked to see Dr Dawson as my dad was very unwell and he stress was really getting to me. On the day I was due to see her I got the call to get to the hospital and I had to cancel. The surgery arranged for her to ring me and then she arranged for me to go in and see her. My dad had passed away and I had also had a car accident and she was simply amazing. She listened, calmed me down, offered sensible and practical advise and support and I felt more supported that I have every felt at a time when I really needed it. We reviewed how I was a week later and she also remembered my partner and ask how she was. Dr Dawson made sure we both new we could go in if there was anything more we needed help with. I am very grateful for the support and glad to say that I am back to work and feeling so much better. Though I am going to follow her advise and contact Cruse for some follow u counselling.

Dr Dawson demonstrated a very high level of professionalism when dealing with me. She was thorough when examining me and extremely empathetic and caring in her approach. She spent more than the allocated time with me, for which I grateful, as this allowed her to explain in detail what my symptoms could be, discuss treatment options/plans, arrange tests and answer my many questions and concerns. She also demonstrated reliability, follow up calls made as promised. She gave me confidence and reassurance.

this lovely lady takes time to listen to all the issues you need to address an can see the bigger picture in the short time allocated, that is your appointment. She is astute and thorough taking into account your history. She is a credit to the medical profession and to the surgery itself. , It would be so nice to be able to get to know 1 doctor, it is so frustrating to see a different doctor & nurse all the time, which fails to provide 'us' with any form of individuality.

Dr Dawson attended my mother in the final weeks of her life. She was caring, proactive and sensible throughout. She took the trouble to ring me on several occasions to discuss her plans for my mum's care with me - friends and colleagues were astonished - their (and my) GPs never do that! My mother was 92 but there was never any suggestion that she wasn't worth treating. She received medication which undoubtedly improved her quality of life and kept her comfortable in her final days. We, as a family are immensely grateful for that.
