I am 41 years old and had a vertical breast reduction 18 months ago with Lisa Sacks. I was a 38GG and now wear 38D. I had always wanted a reduction and Lisa was highly recommended to me. After meeting Lisa, I knew this was the right time. The surgery and recovery I can honestly say was straight forward with very little discomfort. My posture instantly improved and I immediately felt smaller and feminine. The results exceeded my expectations and my confidence is the best it’s ever been! Shopping for bras is no longer a chore and I do not need to wear underwire. I have had regular follow ups with Lisa and felt I could contact her and Liana if I needed too. This has been life changing for me and my family. It’s worth every penny! I am a different person! Thank you Lisa.

Firstly I’d like to say how brilliant Lisa and her whole team including the staff at Nuffield are. My care from start until now and going forward has been exceptional! Lisa has changed my life for the better; having gone from having the chest of a child to now a woman, I no longer feel self conscious about what I look like in little tops or even hoodies and I am so much more comfortable and confident in myself. Lisa right from the start was very honest and frank and i completely trusted her to give me what I wanted and more. I was 18 when I had my breast augmentation and I have gone from a 32A cup to a 36D cup having used 350cc Mentor Micro-textured Cohesive silicone implants. I would recommend Lisa to anyone and I’m really glad I chose her to go through my journey with.

I am 37 and I had a secondary breast reduction with Miss Sacks a few months ago. I had the vertical incision - she is one of the few UK surgeons who offer this technique. My initial surgery (with a different surgeon) was approximately 15 years ago - I had the anchor incision at the time. Within that time frame my breasts grew back to a 30 GG cup (I suspect due to two pregnancies and some weight gain, although my BMI stayed within normal range) and were sitting really low on my chest. I had pretty horrid back pain, no clothes fit right and I looked enormous even at a BMI of 21. I couldn't really run or do intensive exercise. I saw two other surgeons in the Bristol area prior to seeing Miss Sacks. They both wanted to do an anchor incision and one was clear I wouldn't be able to go to a C/D cup without a free nipple graft which I wasn't happy to do. Miss Sacks came across as really professional and able to listen to what I wanted from the surgery. She was attentive and discussed all of my concerns. The pre-op and post-op care was brilliant, she offered so many opportunities for me to discuss any issues or concerns I had. She offers long term follow up, which is something nobody else I've spoken to seems to offer! I am still in awe how smooth the entire process was, compared to what I had previously experienced during my first BR and to what I was expecting. The surgery was virtually pain free after the first night in hospital, when I had pain relief promptly. I was able to walk around so much quicker than anticipated and use my arms. I am now three months post op. I finally feel I have the breasts I've always wanted - I am now a 30C/D. All the clothes I try on fit, all the off the shelf bras fit - it's really such a magical feeling, after all these years of having to buy Bravissimo bras! I think my posture is better, certainly my back and neck pain is much improved. I think the result exceed my expectations, especially considering this was a secondary breast reduction and a vertical incision (which lots of surgeons will tell you can't achieve a significant reduction!). Definitely worth the money, I wish I had it done sooner!

In 2007, just months after the birth of my second baby, I underwent breast augmentation (with 320cc Allergan textured implants). I was 40 years old, insecure and unhappy with my body in general and so I went under the knife in search of a boost to my self esteem. I had adequate breast tissue but like I said, I wanted a boost. The procedure was carried out by a reputable surgeon and I was delighted with the result. My new breasts were shapely, full and added an exciting postpartum kick to my marriage. However, as lovely as they looked on the outside, they still didn't really make me feel any better on the inside. I wasn't ever truly at ease in public with my implants and didn't once admit openly to any of my friends or family that I had undergone breast augmentation, in fact I would just maintain they were the end result of childbirth! As the years unfolded and I put on weight, so too did my breasts grow in size and it was this, combined with the Allergan breast implant cancer scare and the increasingly negative way I had begun to view myself with the implants that finally led me to decide enough was enough, I wanted them out! I didn't return to my original surgeon for various reasons and after much research online, I met with Bristol based surgeon Lisa Sacks. I liked her from the offset and even though I was prepared for any outcome having looked at so many before and after images of women aged 50 plus having their implants removed after 14 years or so, I was absolutely over the moon with the end result. When I looked in the mirror for the first time post-op (capsulectomy) and saw my old boobs, I was pleasantly surprised. They weren't that bad, they were quite good, in fact they looked bloody great and I cannot thank Lisa enough. Any physical pain and discomfort I have felt since having the implants removed or frustrations suffered because of Covid restrictions has been minimal in comparison to how I feel now: free, positive and more importantly, happy with what I see. I only wished I had met with Lisa all those years ago as she may well have told me to go away and think again before going under the knife! From the very beginning she was frank and honest, professional throughout, available throughout and the service her and her team including Liana provided and continue to provide post operatively (lifelong if you need it) has been exemplary yet really friendly and caring. Lisa's skill as a surgeon and person is quite unique I feel and I am so glad I carried out my research and came across her. I live in Cornwall and would have glady travelled much further afield for her care and attention. I really cannot recommend her and her team highly enough.

As soon as I met Dr Lisa Sacks I immediately new that I was in safe and confident hands. She had come highly recommended - and I was not disappointed. She speaks with passion and confidence in her surgical ability and although I was nervous going into the operation I felt that I was going to be cared for well. Her immediate after care is also excellent - texting and following up on a daily basis for 2 weeks. She also made it clear that if I had any concerns or queries post operation I could contact her. Which I did!
