I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor to look after my wrist. Each appointment was a pleasure as she made me feel calm leading up to my operation, I also got on very well with Miss Hajipour, so it was upsetting knowing I didn’t have to go back anymore (same time obviously a relief!) what a delight to be around. Thank you again! The boy who broke his wrist a year ago from playing football

Ladan Hajipour is a cut above the rest. I am so lucky to have been referred to her. Her incredible surgical skills and proactive aftercare mean I now have full use of my thumb and hand following an accident just over a month ago where the eventual outcome would’ve been loss of use of my hand and eventual amputation of the thumb. Finding out from her I had 13 fractures in just one bone was a shock after mistakes at the previous hospital and delays that meant my hand was sat in a cast for a week and a half. On our first appointment Hajipour explained surgery was the only feasible option and under her care I have been given a new thumb. I can’t imagine the complexities involved with rebuilding a tiny, essential bone shattered into 13 pieces but it had to be done so I could use my hand again. Hajipour is honest and plain speaking but brimming with positivity and experience. I had complete faith in her from the moment I shook her hand. Today as I was signed off I noticed she had 31 patients on her list for the morning. Other consultants and practitioners had 10, 17. But Miss Hajipour doesn’t treat you as a number or case. She always makes you feel at ease; that she will do everything she can. Time after time she has reassured me and addressed any issue or problems arising, with prudence and kindness. And this is on the NHS! She’s truly a wonderful surgeon and not just that - a wonderful person. I can look forward to a good future now, with full mobility back and I owe that to this brilliant woman. Thank God my file landed on her list that day.

I was referred to Miss Hajipour when I broke my right wrist. She explained clearly that my future prognosis would be much better if I had a plate inserted in my wrist. Miss Hajipour carried out the surgery as a day patient. She clearly explained what she would be doing and saw me just before surgery to explain again. I saw her in clinic one week after surgery when the dressing was removed. At the time I was delighted with how the scar had healed. Miss Hajipour saw me and referred me for physiotherapy clearly explaining that although it would hurt to do the exercises I must persevere with them. I did them religiously and today, nine weeks after surgery, Miss Hajipour had discharged me from her care. I would like to say thank you to her for her care and professionalism. My scar is healing very well and I understand that it will fade to nothing over time. If you need wrist surgery I cannot recommend Miss Hajipour more highly.

Miss Hajipour is fantastic! If only she could look after all my aches and pains. She is a warm and caring doctor. She listened to me with great care and sympathy. Her diagnosis was quick and then backed up by scans and x-rays. She explained the required procedure clearly and calmly and even showed me the sort of metal plates that would be inserted in my arm. Her surgical skills are (in my experience) wonderful. The scar from my arm operation is hardly visible. There are no bumps/bulges/unsightly marks at all. In fact you have to look closely to see it at all. I don't think Miss Hajipour could give better care. I have never enjoyed hospital visits, but it was always a great pleasure to go see her. I have had several steroid injections in the past and none have been as gentle or as pain-free as those she has delivered. I particularly liked (and was surprised by) the way she massages the fluid into the correct place. If you have a hand or wrist problem, please don't consider consulting anyone else. She is marvellous!
