March 2022 I have been under the care of Miss Kirkpatrick for a little over 2 years since I was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2019 I have had 3 operations and thorough out the whole experience Miss Kirkpatrick has shown great empathy and kindness and made everything bearable I have had a mastectomy and immediate implant and the other breast reduced to match and I am delighted with the result

Having found a lump quite by accident, I was a little anxious and nervous about my visit to the clinic at the L and D. I was reassured and treated with respect, understanding and kindness by Miss Kirkpatrick and the whole team, from referral, through the scans and delivering the results. I was reassured that all was well, nothing to worry about, I was free to go - but as I left the clinic it struck me that many in the waiting room would not receive the same news that afternoon. I feel that if I had received bad news that afternoon I would trust that Miss Kirkpatrick would have been calm, empathetic and professional in her approach. Thank you L and D for your great care.
