Huge thank you to this lady, not just for the neatest, fastest-healing, laparotomy and adhesiolysis one could wish for, but for demonstrating her understanding of my emotional needs as well as clinical needs beforehand, and thereby giving me the total confidence that I needed that she would treat both needs equally when making necessary decisions as to how best to proceed whilst I was under anaesthetic and therefore unable to speak for myself.
