Miss Helen Dorrance

I recently underwent surgery for bowel cancer and was extremely impressed by the team who undertook my care. It was led by surgeon Helen Dorrance. From our first meeting my confidence in her interpersonal skills and clinical care was confirmed. I felt immediately that she understood the concerns I had and she sought to make the whole process as relaxed as possible. Her approach was to address my situation with honesty and integrity but also with a reassuring level of both sympathy and humour. Her team think the world of her as do I.
