I’ve spent the last few months in and out of hospital having a cancerous section of my small intestine removed and the fitting of a stoma bag. After an assessment recently which turned out to be a total disaster with very low blood pressure and poor kidney function my consultant Miss Frances Goulder managed to arrange a rapid COVID test and I was admitted to hospital three days later. Miss Goulder was most reassuring and the staff of the Royal Hampshire County Hospital Colorectal unit were absolutely brilliant, nothing was ever too much for them. Thank you all for a new life.
