I recently spent in hospital having a cancerous section of my small intestine removed by consultant Miss Frances Goulder and a stoma bag fitted. After an assessment which turned out to be a total disaster with very low blood pressure and poor kidney function my consultant managed to arrange a rapid COVID test and I was admitted to hospital three days later. Miss Goulder and her fellow consultants and the staff of the Royal Hampshire County Hospital Colorectal unit have been absolutely brilliant, nothing was ever too much for them. Thank you all for a new life.
