In a very stressful, nerve wrecking time and being a very straightforward person, Emma sidebotham was phenomenal with how she conducted herself and explained everything. She was honest, straightforward and caring. She is a true credit to the NHS and possibly the best surgeon to practice in Paediatric surgery.

Ms sidebotham and her team operated on our granddaughter last week she was transferred from Scarborough with burst appendix and sepsis ms sidebotham saved our granddaughter without a doubt .she spoke to us and explained every thing she did amazing job and we are so gratefull to this amazing surgeon and she kept visiting our grandaughter and checking on her . excellent

Miss Sidebotham (along with Dr Crabbe) was responsible for our 8 month old daughters middle right lobectomy (removal of part of her right lung) and the way in which she helped us throughout the process was fantastic from start to finish. We had several consultations with Miss Sidebotham prior to the operation in which she thoroughly talked us through the procedure and after care etc, and the communication and attention to detail once our daughter was admitted to hospital, during and after the operation was fantastic. Miss Sidebotham has a very gentle, kind and caring nature and made us feel very comfortable at all stages throughout what was a rough time for us as parents. We would highly recommend miss Sidebotham and her team to anyone who needs them! Thank you very much for everything you and all the other staff have done for us and our daughter.
