Miss Pereira is a wonderful surgeon and I recommend her very highly. She treated me for locally advanced breast cancer. I opted for a mastectomy and am making a good recovery. The wound is healing well and to my surprise I did not experience much pain thanks to her surgical skill. She has a warm and pleasant manner which I found so reassuring at a time of stress. She is an excellent communicator and explained everything clearly, listened to my concerns and answered my questions thoroughly. She treated me with respect and empathy which is so important. I am so grateful for the fantastic care I received.

I saw consultant Miss Bernadette Pereira at North Middlesex Hospital for early stage breast cancer. She was kind, helpful, compassionate and extremely knowledgable making me feel at ease and reassured. She even came and saw me in recovery after my operation to make sure I was okay. I Highly Recommend her to everyone I speak to and am delighted to have her as my consultant.

Miss Bernadette Pereira was amazing at making me feel at ease, explaining everything clearly and answering all my questions. She did not hurry me and took the time to ensure I was fully aware of what was happening until I was ready to leave the consultation. What I liked most was, after the operation she performed on me, she came to see me in recovery to check on my progress and that really made me feel like she cares deeply about the people in her care. The speed at which I was dealt with from diagnosis to outcome was super quick and I was never left waiting or felt alone at anytime. The care, help and support was and is fantastic. I was diagnosed with breast cancer stage 0, I was scared and confused but when I met with my consultant Dr B Pereira she put me at ease. She took time to explain everything in detail and to reassure me that I was not alone. She is kind,understanding, and listens to her patient. She answers every question to satisfaction. After my surgery when I woke up, she came to see me and reassured me everything had gone well and what to expect. It was so nice to see her at that moment as it is a bit scary and confusing when you wake up. I highly highly recommend her to everyone I speak to. Thank you Dr Pereira.
