Possibly the most judgemental and rudest doctor I have ever met. Didn’t listen to anything I said, seemed really annoyed to even be in the room. Tried correcting me on aspects of my own health. I paid for a private appointment as I really needed someone to listen to my concerns and give me advice following a traumatic miscarriage and I wasn’t listened to at all.

I contacted Miss Sharma in June 2020 (amidst the COVID-19 pandemic). I required treatment that I was concerned about and felt was urgent. Miss Sharma took the time to explain the procedure, the side affects and welcomed any questions I had. Although there were time restraints implemented due to government guidelines, Miss Sharma done her best to move my procedure forward as quickly as possible and, along with her lovely secretary, kept me informed throughout which I greatly appreciated. I would like to thank Miss Sharma for all she has done for me, someone I would definitely return to should the need ever arise in the future!

I saw Miss Sharma at Springfield Hospital in March 2019 for heavy periods, she performed a hysteroscopy and fitted a coil. While some may see her as rude I found her to be very professional and to the point. She clearly explained all of my options to me before deciding on surgery. On the day of my operation she visited me beforehand and put my mind at ease, she was also very reassuring to my daughter who was with me and I felt in safe hands.

I had a terrible experience with dr sharma, right from the first consultation, I had previous surgery with another doctor for the vaginal growth that had come back I explained my concern and said I’d done a bit of research and my symptoms seem to be something altogether different to a polyp, with that she shot me down didn’t want to listen, insisted it was a polyp which she removed under general anaesthetic for it to return once again!! A went back explained its back and she was rude ... after all this it turns out I have mesh erosion from a prolapse surgery 6 years previous Because she wouldn’t listen and just went ahead with a basic polyp removal I had an unnecessary and painful surgery I don’t have a nice word to say about her conduct

I was reading through Miss Sharma's reviews and felt the need to write about an experience I had with her many years ago. She carried out surgery on myself for endometriosis it turned into open surgery in the end that went on for a number of hours. She removed a dermoid ovarian cyst at the time (as well as scar tissue and endometriosis) and as a result removed a lot of the ovary. This was something we never really discussed it wasn't until I saw another surgeon years later and obtained hospital records regarding my previous operation that he explained what this meant. I didn't realise that she had also taken a big amount of the ovary. My friend also had a dreadful experience with her when she delivered her twins that I would never recommend her and would avoid having a procedure with her. I am due to have more surgery hence me doing some research on here about my new surgeon and just felt the need to mention it.
