I saw Ms Gumma the morning after my mother passed away for a procedure which I did not want to postpone. Her professionalism and care were faultless and she and her team were very sensitive to the situation, and extremely kind. I was waiting for the start of the main procedure, which I had nervously opted for without anaesthetic, when I was told it had been done! What I had thought were preparations, were in fact the procedure undertaken by skilled hands. In the past I would invariably ask for a second opinion on medical matters, however my trust in Ms Gumma's expertise means that this is not necessary. I would not wish to be treated by anyone else.

Today I was discharged from Ms Gumma's care and I was strangely very sad about this. Ms Gumma is truely one of the most kindest, most caring and genuine individuals I have ever met. From my first appointment she put me at ease & tailored each appointment to my needs. I am the biggest worrier ever but Ms Gumma didn't let this phase her, she would always put my mind at rest & I always left my appointments smiling. Ms Gumma was the first Health Care Professional to actually listen to me and how I was feeling. Ms Gumma had a diagonosis for my gynechological issues but also suggested I had other problems and referred me to a gastroenterologist. I had been suffering for years and from a 10 minute appointment Ms Gumma got to the bottom of it & she was not wrong, I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. For my gyne issues Ms Gumma explained eveything to me in a clear way but also didn't push her opinions on what should happen. She advised me on her medical opinion and I had a laparoscopy. I was not worried one bit when I knew Ms Gumma would be performing this. Ms Gumma saw me both before my surgery and after which I felt was so lovely of her to do. This really does show how caring Ms Gumma is. While performing my laparoscopy Ms Gumma found 3 large cysts but got straight to removing them. When I came round from surgery Ms Gumma came to see me but I had a seizure. Ms Gumma again showed how caring she was and stayed until I recovered. She had arranged for me to stay in the night to make sure I was ok. She has so much compassion. I then needed the Mirena coil fitted as a way of treatment after my surgery. Again Ms Gumma put all my worries at ease. A few months after this wasn't working for me so again Ms Gumma listened to my feelings and what I had been going through and removed this for me. We then decided on what was best going forward. Thank you so much Ms Gumma, you have really changed my life and changed my view on the whole health care profession. I hope I can go on to learn from you in my own career. Jade Pender

I am a senior nurse and have been under the care of Ms Gumma for approx. 3 years. I cannot praise her care highly enough. Her care, compassion and humanity are outstanding attributes of her care delivery. She totally understands the concerns from the patient perspective and she gives complete reassurance during any care she delivers both as an outpatient and during surgical procedures. Ms Gumma is the ultimate professional and I trust her clinical assessments and care totally. Ms Gumma has/ is also seeing members of my family and as a mum I have reassurance that my daughter is under her care. I have seen Ms Gumma as an NHS patient and a private patient.

My very first appointment with Miss Gumma was very nerve wrecking as I was in lots of pain from my daughters delivery. Everything was done according to my comfort and nothing otherwise. I can talk to Miss Gumma about any worries and I know she will always have a solution and she's he only one that would put me at ease and no one else. Not only does she know what she's talking about she knows how to develop a relation which makes you trust her blindly. I have been her patient for the past 2years and will be seeing her in the future. Thank you ever so much. You've helped me with half my phobias and still helping me overcome them all.

I found that miss gumma is welcoming to all veiws and self opinions as much as she is of her expertese as a Dr. She is very helpful able to give opinion with out feeling pushed and in to anything and is polite and understanding on all worries you may have taken all concerns to heart. The full team are professional and take their patients needs and concerns to the extreme level under their care. I am very greatful for all fantastic care and advice I have been offered by her and the team and would highly recommend her to anyone .
