After booking the appointment, the doctor was late- I understand this is unavoidable sometimes, however I then felt rushed throughout the appointment. I felt there was a lack of sympathy/ empathy regarding my situation and a lot of symptoms I was experiencing. I highlighted issues to be told “I don’t think it’s this” without hesitation, when it would have been more reassuring to be able to have a more detailed discussion. I felt I had to fight to get further appointments/ care and I felt quite dismissed by the entire experience, it appeared as very much like a business transaction which I was not satisfied with, rather than private care. I was given results which I understand and I respect and acknowledge the doctors opinion/knowledge/ insight however the whole appointment could have been handled better.

I was a nightmare patient really I have serve mental health and health anxiety quite bad I really was scared to do this surgery but now I’m glad I had it. as soon as I got in for my surgery the day nurses were amazing with me I did write down there names but lost the paper unfortunately there kept checking on me and ensuring I was completely safe hand with DR narguard, she explain everything to me and made sure that it would be ok , I went down for surgery and she did the best for me , I would definitely recommend her if you having surgery for endometriosis within in 10 days after surgery I was walking and doing most normal things again and was off my pain relief too this is the quickest I have ever healed and felt good I believe this was because of DR narguard and her amazing job she did! I did also have to stay in overnight but again was treated amazingly respectfully and my kept my dignity. I couldn’t stress enough on how amazing this hospital is and it’s staff! Thank you to everyone who helped me and took care of me on that day

After many years of suffering with chronic bleeding and pain due to endometriosis and fibroids and having had previous surgeries, medications etc from NHS that did nothing to improve my symptoms, I was at my wits end when I decided to look at private care. I did my research and came across Mrs Nargund on the St Joseph’s website. Her bio said that she is an active listener and that she prides herself on working in partnership with her patients and that is what I was looking for. At my initial consultation, she was friendly and personable and listened to everything I had to say, went through my history and advised laporoscopic hysterectomy with bilateral oopherectomy and I was admitted 2 weeks later. The care I have received from her pre and post op has been second to none. I would highly recommend this compassionate, caring and understanding surgeon to any lady who is suffering with gynaecological issues.
