I was under Andrene’s care in the Gilbert Bain Hospital with our first baby. Andrene was very informative, and calming throughout. Andrene is very confident of her capabilities and rightly so. She was absolutely fantastic before our birth- discussing various birthing options with us very carefully, then during our labour- she was called to us due to an unpredicted bleed- she remained calm and continued to speak me through what was happening, then finally post-partum- she was so thorough and debriefed us afterwards. If at all possible I’ll be asking for Andrene to lead our care in the future if we choose to have more children.

Andrene safely delivered my first baby by emergency c section. She is amazing, a really approachable person and really informative. I feel she goes above and beyond her role . Andrene has been really supportive throughout my second pregnancy and has helped me with choices. If I have to have another c section I really hope she does it .
