I visited Miss Lawrence on 19th march 2019 and she was wonderful. She was extremely helpful and listened to all i had to say. She provided a good treatment plan for me and she prepared me for what was going to happen during our appointment. Very highly recommend.

Dr. Lawrence is fantastic. Friendly and puts you at ease whilst explaining everything. However, her secretary is the worst I have ever experienced. I've been waiting weeks for her to respond to me about an appointment time... despite several chaser emails. When she does respond, she responds to old emails that I sent (I.e. offering me appointments for a particular date, I agree to a date and ask for a specific time, 3 weeks later she responds offering me another date whilst not even acknowledging the initial date she offered me. This has happened repeatedly.)

Excellent service .I would highly recommend.Miss Lawrence was courteous, friendly and highly professional. She started by introducing herself as remembered me from an appointment 18 months previously. She asked me about my history and symptoms and reflected back to me what I said to make sure everything was covered . We discussed my family history and the fact that my sister(recently deceased) was unfortunate enough to have had 3 different primary cancers. She told me in a very sensitive way about Lynch syndrome and asked whether my sister had been investigated for it. (She had) Miss Lawrence told me clearly that she would start by perfotming a vaginal ultrasound and the explained the circumstances in which a hysteroscopy might also be necessary. It transpired that the lining of my wood was slightly thickened ,so in 5he event a hysteroscopy was performed.Miss Lawrence gave me all the information I needed to consent to the procedure in a precise, factual and empathetic way .She introduced me to her team who all had different roles and worked well together. It was clear to me for example that the nursing assistant was primed to keep me engaged in conversation about whatever interested me ( my family) to put me at my ease while Miss Lawrence did the procedure . Miss Lawrence joined in the conversation and explained everything as she went along, she enabled me to see the screen and was as reassuring as she could be on the basis of what she saw. I experienced only minor discomfort whilst a biopsy was taken. After the procedure I was assisted to get dressed and was offered a cup of tea by the nurse. I then saw Miss Lawrence in her room and she went through everything again .I am to expect the biopsy results in 3 weeks time and have a follow up telephone appointment. She was very clear in a friendly way about what I should do in the future if any bleeding reoccurs. She shook my hand and wished me well. In terms of improving Miss Lawrences personal service I have nothing to offer. The only comment I would make about the clinic is that the receptionist(s) whilst not rude or impolite in any way, were a little unengaging, unlike the clinical staff I met that day. I believe that I and another patient were the first appointments of the day .We both arrived at about ten to nine for a nine am appointment. The clinic door was locked until nine and the clinic started promptly but there was no where to wait other the vestibule for the lift . It made s both wonder out loud whether in fact, we were in the right place .It also made me think that a more infirm or disabled patient would not have been able to sit down .
