Absolutely rip off and terrible service. I waited half an hour to be seen and paid £249 for a consultation that lasted 4.5 mins. I saw Aikaterini Charakida and told her my skin trouble started when I had the contraceptive implant, she wrote down that it started when I had the contraceptive pill, didn’t look at my affected areas and told me I needed to pay £350 for a skin scrape to rule out a fungal infection. I have had skin problems for 5 years that frequently flare up and down due to stress and hormone so was very surprised at this. To be honest, I felt like she didn’t care, she didn’t ask any questions about lifestyle, medical history etc. I was then sent to the clinic manager who informed me on top of the £350 for skin scraping it would be an additional £169 for the results and £30 for the prescription. I would appreciate someone from the clinic to get in touch with me about why I paid £30 for a prescription that I then had to pay £19.40 to receive at Boots. What is the £30 for if they don’t give you the product? Terrible service, rude and not at all caring. Waste of time and money and Aikaterini Charakida is useless.

My daughter had waited months to see her regarding her ongoing acne problem , disgusted at the service she received less than 5 minute appointment and no questions asked regarding her problem , perhaps if we where private a patient would of received the kind of care that we expected .

I have had an awful year under the care of the NHS. Through desperation I turned to private care. I was so fortunate to have found Dr Charakida. I felt comfortable, understood and I knew this lady was at the top of her field. Also the lovely nurse who worked along side her. They both made me feel very relaxed through the removal of a mole/tumour. Thank you to you and all your lovely staff.

Dr Charakida from Harley Street Healthcare dermatology clinic is a very professional dermatologist. Extremely knowledgable and knows exactly what she's doing. She does see patients very quickly but one thing I would say is she is confident in her ability and gives the correct medications always which always work! I've seen her for my psoriasis and my wife has been to her for her acne both times she was able to sort our skin out! I would highly recommend Dr Charakida from Harley street healthcare dermatology clinics. They're based at 22 Harley street, give them a call and you'll see what I mean.

I saw this doctor at Harley Street, she's an excellent doctor who knows exactly what she's talking about. Prior to visiting her I actually went to another doctor down the road who new absolutely nothing about my condition and prescribed me the wrong medication for my acne cyst. Dr Charakida offered different treatment options by advised me that he medication given to me by the other doctor could worsen my situation. I was given the right course of treatment and my cyst disappeared. Dr Charakida will from now on be the only doctor I ever see again. She also diagnosed my husband so quickly for his psoriasis which so many other doctors misdiagnosed. I really think she's one of the best dermatologists in town. Definitely recommend her!!
