Miss Olaitin refused to operate on my mother who had a progressing uterine cancer and was increasingly symptomatic with pain and vomiting . She put her back by a week . The reason for this refusal to operate was that I called MissOlaitin her in desperation asking for the surgery to be put forward and if this could not be done in the nhs if she could do this privately . I did not know at the time that the surgery had already been brought forward by another consultant . Her tumour was removed the week after by another consultant and it has as suspected had progressed and spread . She alllowed by mother to suffer for a week and allowed the tumour to progress further . I think Miss Olaitin was very unprofessional , inhumane and irresponsible and I would not recommend anyone to go to this doctor .
