After receiving IVF treatment and going onto a successful pregnancy, I eagerly called my surgery to book in for an appointment as I have never been pregnant before and was unsure about the process. I was informed ny the receptionist as she wasn't sure about the process would ask the duty doctor to give me a call back. I received a call back from Dr Lewis the next day who was very rude, matter of fact. I explained I had never been pregnant before and didnt understand the process. You would have thought a doctor who claims she has trained in obstetrics and gynecology she would have some compassion and at least say congratulations or even have some compassion about me being a newly pregnant lady, but no she decided to be a robot. I understand she is in a clinical role, but surely your human? Disappointment as I normally have a good experiemce with other doctors at the surgery.
