I was happily surprised, for once the answer wasn't googled in front of me and medicine unnecessarily prescribed as a first point of call. It was perscibed for what was deemed necessary and an explanation as to why was given which I understood along with links that I would find useful to expand my own understanding. My lifestyle and causes were investigated and I was given knowledge on how certain aspects were contributing to my concerns and given advice on how to improve these problems for myself. I felt the root causes were looked at and I was given the help needed to help myself, this advice I was able to explain to my children also so they may have better health through my learning. Unfortunately for the doctor,I went with several problems that had built up due to how bad the appointment system has become but I was not made to feel rushed or bad about this. I went in feeling concerned and came out feeling uplifted,heard and inspired.

I saw Dr Walter this morning with a concern I had about a mole. He was so very reassuring as soon as he looked at it. He put my mind at rest completely. He has a very approachable manner and is easy to talk to. As I only rang Streamside Surgery at 10am and saw him at 1.30 I could not be more satisfied with the treatment I received today.

Dr Walter gave us some very useful advice regarding preventative measures for migraine. This is the first time we have been given information to help treat the root cause and not just medication to tackle the symptoms.

Dr Walter is very conscientious when it comes to your care, he listens and reacts to you in a positive way. If he hadn't done the psa blood test, I wouldn't know I've got prostate cancer. I would recommend him to anyone who asks me.
