This Dr has no empathy or bedside man at all and to be honest I’m surprised he is even a Dr.

If you require an empathetic approach then I feel this consultant may not be for you. I think anyone vulnerable may need someone with a little bit more care and compassion. This isn’t meant to undermine this Consultant as he has been thorough with me although I felt he was very dismissive initially.

He told me all my pains were part of a Rheumatology problem, although he had not heard of my diagnosis before! Then went on to say I was taking 300mg of a drug, he dismissed me when I told him I took 600mg, I even showed him my prescription, then went on to say 300mg was the max dose. My Gp and Pharmacist confirmed that 600mg is the max dose. He was abrupt and dismissive of my symptoms. He did say he would arrange for some tests, but I think that was just to get rid of me.

Dr Mowafi can seem a bit brusk but he is exceptionally thorough, investigating things that other doctors have not even considered. He certainly gets ones treatment moved forward. Really am grateful to him for taking the time to listen and for looking into my symptoms in such depth. Definitely recommend.

If it wasn’t for mr mowafi and his perseverance and patience with my symptoms, I would have been living with a ticking time bomb in my head due to a brain aneurysm that needed clipping via a crainiotomy. He was so thorough where others would have just ignored my symptoms. Very easy to talk to and even printed out things for me to read. I can not thank him enough. He basically saved my life !
