I was seen by the anaesthetist before my operation , he introduced himself and explained what his role was in the procedure . Explained the consent form to me and put me at ease. I was taken to the operating room by a lovely nurse , there were two nurses who kept me distracted whilst Dr Husaini found my vein( said I had great veins) Reassurance given and then I fell asleep .
