I was very anxious about my surgery and Dr Dhokia cans and visited me to try and alleviate any concerns. The only negative aspect was that the spinal seemed to take a long time, but other than that things were ok. He kept me updated during the surgery, which I liked and tried to make the experience a little better for me.

Dr Dhokia has to be one of the best anaesthetists there is, so much so I gave him the nickname ICEMAN. Vishal was my wife's anaesthetist for her labour, not only did he insert her epidural without her even knowing he'd done it, but he was also instrumental in saving her life when things took a turn for the worse, along with his colleagues at the Leicester Royal Infirmary, I can't thank you enough for everything you all did for her. Having the skill and expertise to insert an arterial line whilst my wife was crashing due to major blood loss, within seconds too.. was to me, one of the reasons I have my wife and baby boy at home with me today. Cool as ice, and truly professional, I'd trust him with my life. Vischal kept us informed throughout my wife's recovery and was in every ten minutes or so, or if he wasn't busy with other work to make sure she was ok. A massive smile always on his face, and very modest to boot, again I cannot thank you enough for all you have done, the icing on the cake was finding out we're both massive supporters of the same football team and I hope one day I bump into him when he's not busy saving lives.
