Dr Ghura explained clearly the nature of my BCC and what my options were and showed me the probable visual appearance of the wound both immediately after surgery and then at various time intervals post surgery. He reassured me in relation to my prognosis and alleviated my fears about facial scarring as a result of the procedure. Dr Ghura also explained what I could expect from the procedure itself in terms of pain and discomfort.in relation to which the actual procedure compared favourably to most forms of dental work. Four weeks post surgery the scar has already faded significantly. Dr Ghura is clearly very sensitive to the aesthetic concerns of his patients as well as very effective at removing the threat to their health. He is a clear communicator with a friendly and reassuring manner. Hard to fault.

Dr Ghura took great care of me, he is a very caring and knowledgeable doctor. My treatment was nothing short of outstanding, a fantastic doctor. He explained my condition, treatment and likely outcome and answered all of my questions putting my mind at ease. I had two basal cell carcinoma’s successfully surgically remove, one from each ear. The treatment and care I received was very good and I am very pleased with the outcome.

From my initial consultation with Dr. Vindy Ghura through to a diagnosis and then to the treatment of my particular health issue, I can honestly say how pleased and confident I felt with the whole process. I was very nervous when I first attended the hospital but Dr Vindy Ghura fully explained in a very professional but compassionate and simplified way what my treatment would involve and what would potentially happen going forward. Going into hospital for any treatment is a difficult time for anyone but I can honestly say that the whole experience of being being treated by Dr Vindy Ghura showed that he is totally dedicated to his profession and caring for his patients. One small example which I would like to highlight was that when I returned home from my final treatment I was a little confused as to what I needed to do going forward so I sent an email to Dr. Ghura. Dr. Ghurha immediately replied with a full and simple explanation and reassured me that it was not a problem to contact him if I needed some guidance. I wish to thank Dr. Ghura and his team for all the care and support they gave me throughout my treatment.

I was referred by a fellow dermatologist to Dr Ghura to treat a suspected BCC on my nose. From the start he was very professional and took time to explain what was involved in the surgery to remove the BCC. Dr Ghura performed the surgery with care and patience explaining each step along the way, including taking photos. After only 1 week, the stitches - over 20 of them (extra ones made to enable the profile of the nose to be maintained) - were removed and after about 10 days I could hardly see the scar; a testament to Dr Ghura's surgery and careful stitching as well as to the healing ability of the body! After the surgery and before the bandage was applied, I was surprised to see the size of the wound and all the stitches, so wondered how it would finish up. I need not have been concerned as the surgery has been a great success and down to Dr Gura's skill and experience.

I have had two Mohs operations on my face in the last 3 years successfully carried by Dr.Ghura. As a nervous patient I approached the first one with a sense of dread, but was assured by Dr. Ghura that it would not be a problem. This turned out to be the case. In both ops Dr. Ghura managed to remove all the infected tissue at the first attempt which meant that I did not have to go back under the scalpel following the biopsy. Consequently both ops only took about 2-3 hours, though most of this was waiting for the results from the biopsy. The after surgery wounds looked quite horrific, but now 6 months after the last op there is hardly a trace, and I am amazed how well it has healed. Both ops were completely were pain free, so too, the healing process. I would recommend Dr. Ghura to anybody having this operation, always greeted with a smile and a pleasure to deal with.
