He diagnosed me reasonably well but I needed some more nuanced care as I had a secondary condition which now (10 years later) should have been taken into account. Namely anxiety. I don't think he did.
He referred me on to a bad therapist who was, in hindsight, not very well equipped to see patients and told me to do a trauma programme at the Priory North London. I came to Dr Watts with anxiety and panic disorder looking to get referred onto to doing CBT and ended up doing a trauma programme which was about 4 weeks after I first saw Dr Watts. This was insanely too soon IMO in hindsight.
Do i wish all doctors were like Dr watts fantastic doctor was i in a terrible state of mind he helped me and supported through ptsd depression anxiety thank you
I think he has probably saved my life after suffering for so many years with a mental health illness. He put me on medication that has started to really help me. I have had some tough days but I am now seeing a great therapist that Dr Watts referred me to. I know in my heart that I will have to stay on medication for a long time. The medication helps me to function and feel stable. I'm going to get back on track. I would recommend Dr Watts to anyone who is suffering mental health problems, he is the only Doctor who has helped me to get back on track.

Dr Watts managed to make more progress with me in an hour than I think I'd made in ten years with various GPs and therapists. He makes sure to allow his patients to make decisions where it's appropriate and I think giving this control is extremely valuable. Dr Watts referred me to an excellent therapist and has made decisions on prescribing taking into account my preferences. He is easy to talk to, and I trust him completely.
