I was referred to Braintree as an emergency patient with a suspected virus and was treated with the utmost courtesy first by Dr Sharma's assistant and then by Dr Sharma himself. Their manner was very professional and all was explained as the interview unfolded. I can find no criticism of the professional way the procedures were carried out. I would have no qualms about recommending the Rapid Assessment service.

My father was seen by Dr Vijay Sharma at Braintree Community Hospital Rapid Assessment Unit. There was a short delay before my father could be assessed and Dr Sharma himself came into the waiting room, leaned down to my father who was seated in a wheelchair and apologised for the wait. He even offered refreshments. Dr Sharma gave my father his undivided attention for more than 1.5 hrs and organised a chest xray and blood tests. In the entire duration of a very long and complex consultation, resulting in my father's admission to Broomfield Hospital, Dr Sharma was professional, considerate, patient and caring. He involved both my father and myself in his deliberations at every stage and really paid attention to any contribution we made. We are very appreciative of Dr. Sharma's exemplary care and are delighted to have the opportunity to give this feedback.
