I had an AAA screening at the surgery a few weeks back and the people doing my scan were talking to each other and one said “yes it’s very good here”. I asked if they were talking about the patient notification system in the waiting area and they said “yes, we don’t often have that luxury it makes it so much easier for us not having to go to the waiting area and call out the patients’ name, especially good as we are upstairs”.

I have only seen Dr Borty twice recently and both times he was running late but once in with him, he is very thorough. Good at asking questions and updating the patient records at the same time! I found him to be professional and friendly.

Doctor Victor Bortey, is simply an exceptional doctor who totally CARES for all his patients. He is patient/ great listener, he is thorough and detailed. He goes over the normal time - which may mean waiting longer to see him, bu its all worth the waiting as he does not fobb one off neither does he rush you off. he is a refreshing change to studholme medical centre where i have been a patient or visiting with my family for thirteen years. Dr Victor Bortey truly understands doctor patient relationship and he genuinely at all times and consistently practises it. please make him aware of this review so that it serves as moral boosting and great incentive for him not go relent on all the good work he is doing at studholme medical centre? truly, Ms C. Clement-morris
