Dr Eastbrook is a very good Dr which shows if you try to book her its usually two weeks or so to see her , I trust her wise words and judgements, she listens and discusses solutions and never hurries you. However I do think it would be helpful to both patients and Drs if on the notice board they said who was next to see the Dr as sometimes in an emergency or if they are running late there is no info given to patients who can get stressed when the wait is over 3/4 of an hour hope Balmoral will take this on board and make the arrangements as overall its a very good practice.

I was so relieved to find Dr Eastbrook as I had recently moved into the area and had an excellent GP in London. She listened to my concerns and addressed everything I asked her to. She was empathetic and I felt completely confident in her.

I went to see Dr Eastbrook after a lot of my friends had praised her and recommended I see her for my depression . During the consultation I felt I was wasting her precious time. At one point whilst explaining my symptoms I burst into tears and Dr Eastbrook didn't say a word and just pushed a box of tissues towards me. I felt humiliated as she showed no sympathy or interest in anything I was saying . I can honestly say I was left very disapointed and will not be using up any of her valuable time again .

When I was suddenly stricken and felt unable to get up from my chair, my husband phoned Balmoral Surgery in Walmer and was referred to Dr. Eastbrook, who immediately sent a paramedic, Mr. Lewis Price, to our house. He performed a thorough assessment of my condition, and by contact with Dr, Eastbrook, a diagnosis of Ménières disease was established, A palliative drug was then prescribed and within a very short time, some relief was evident. The NHS and medical practice at its very best.

Dr was running late, each patient prior to the appointment were in consultation for 20 minutes or so. My appointment was 45 minutes or so late, which I don't have a problem with at all. When my appointment came she would not discuss what I was asking for which I considered to be linked to the condition I was there to discuss. Her voice got louder and louder until she was almost shouting at me. She pushed a prescription at me and said I'm running late you have had your 10 minutes come back another time. I had tried to book a double appointment and I explained this but there wasn't any. I will not be going back to see this doctor. She was very rude.
