My father in law was seen by Dr Hillman, in the AMU. I cannot speak highly enough of him. He took time to explain everything to us, reassure us and made us feel that there were no other patients in the hospital who were more important. He was able to answer our questions and his team made arrangements for my father in law to be seen by his colleagues in other hospitals. He has the best bedside/chairside manner I have experienced (and I used to be a nurse!)
For the first time in ages, we have confidence in the NHS and really feel that Dad is going to get the right treatment for his symptoms.
I hope that he is able to pass on his expertise to his junior colleagues and that they do their best to emulate him. He is a credit to UCLH and to the NHS
