Written by a NHS patient at Abingdon Community Hospital
12th June 2022

Over nearly three years I saw Dr Malhotra either over MS Teams during the Covid19 Pandemic or face to face in Abingdon Community Hospital. At all consultations Dr Malhotra was accompanied either by a 4th Med student on their psych rotation or a nursing colleague. It matters not. Dr Malhotra was more keen to impress them than to listen to me. The letters to my GP following each consultation were wildly inaccurate. Some details could be overlooked as trivial but others were significant and important in my ongoing care plan. I was the one who pushed to be discharged to Primary Care as I think that as a responsible, intelligent and highly qualified patient I can work with my highly skilled, highly knowledgeable and totally understanding GP and we can manage this together. If we need further intervention it will come in the form of an emergency admission to the Warneford Hospital.
