Have been let down by this Dr. His manner left me feeling extremely overwhelmed. His careless, humiliating and stigmatising remark has caused me unbearable emotional distress as it has triggered the worst PTSD flashbacks of my mother's tragic death. I've had to have time off work and had to request medication to help me sleep and cope. I only spoke to him briefly but the way he conducted himself has had extremely debilitating effects on my overall mental health since my surgery which went very well. The nurse present also slapped me down verbally and patronised me for my being a little too high in mood I'd say as she was rather disbelieving of me when she asked about whether I'd taken any illicit substances. She asked if I was sure when I told her no. I mask due to autism and my way of being, jovial and happy was to help cope with an overwhelming situation. Said, That's enough several times when I was just being myself, so basically being told off for showing autistic traits. I was struggling not to become overwhelmed. Was patronised by both staff, stigmatised and disrespected. As much as the surgery results turned out brilliant, had I known how I'd have been left feeling due to the manner and behaviour of two senior medical staff, I would've seriously reconsidered. Extremely disappointed by them both.

On reflection, he had an extremely condescending manner toward me. Left utterly humiliated by an uncalled for, stigmatising remark. Overbearing and my personal space was not respected. His behaviour fell well short of what you'd expect from a Dr of his calibre. Oh dear indeed!
