Dr hill is and always has been great with myself and my family. He is fantastic with children and always does what he can to make them feel better. He is very easy to talk to and just great all round.

Took time to listen to my concerns, was pragmatic in his approach & gave a thorough explanation as to my ailment in a way I could understand. Excellent!!

He phoned me up to ask my symptoms and then made an appointment to see him straight away. He met me at the waiting room door and made me comfortable in his surgery where he did the necessary tests to establish whether I had any problems. He arranged an ECG and this was done at once. He advised me of my health issues and recommended a solution which I was happy to accept. This is where a local GP and the NHS comes up trumps. As far as I can see this Doctor and the practice do not need to improve the service as it is excellent.

Improvements are needed in empathy. Communication,especially with relatives/carers who are supporting a patient needs improvement - they need to be seen as an asset not a nuisance and listened to . A sense of responsibility for a patient when there is an ongoing and longstanding issue would help-including liaison with the hospital .
