I have to rate Dr Tim crook 5 stars, his knowledge and expertise in his field is exceptional. Tim Crook makes you feel at ease. I have had 3 treatments of Delcath Melphalan for Ocular Melanoma. He has been monitoring my Scan results I have every 3 months. I’ve also been having special blood tests done in Mumbai to know more about what’s happening so Tim can catch anything at the very early stage. His scientific mind blows you away. He is so down to earth and explains everything at your level. I feel safe and privileged to be in his care. Thank you Tim Crook. Carol Player

If you are in need of an Oncology doctor (my heart goes out to you), I can say from experience you will not find anyone better - in every sense of the word - than Dr. Tim Crook. From intelligence and skill to bedside manner, from experience to knowledge of diagnostic technologies - he is what I would consider the top 1% of the medical community. In my situation, which threw so many curve balls, Dr. Crook was ahead of the situation, always plugged into the latest solutions and 100% available, making me feel like I had the best care (as I watched a lot of people I knew suffer from substandard care and treatments - as you go on your journey - you do meet a lot of people going through similar diagnoses and you thank your lucky stars you have Tim in your corner). He's on the human side of medicine (he REALLY does care) but ironically is the most plugged in to what the latest technology has to offer to help you and your situation ... but his attention to detail in medical reports and scans - his knowledge - is mind-blowing. I am an innovations consultant and I am as picky as they come - I KNOW that my cancer - which is now CURED - had no chance with Tim on my team. I have friends who never get to speak to their doctors outside office hours - and that's just not Dr. Crook's style. I owe my life to him (and his amazing PA Karen - who pulls every string to make sure you're ok and taken care of)... I just cannot say enough good things about him or my experience under his care... And if you're at Harley - I HAVE to also mention that the nurses and doctors under Tim administering his treatment plan are AMAZING - so much so that you miss going to treatment after its over. THANK YOU!

Dr.T.R.Crook is an exceptional professional. He is extremely experienced, he listens and CARES about his patients. I am going through a very difficult treatment for choroidal melanoma and have been working with Tim for the last three years. I consider myself fortunate that he is my oncologist. He is simply a superstar !

Dr Crook has been the most incredible member of my medical team. He cared for my needs and involved my family. Dr Crook shared all the information with me in an appropriate manner, ensuring I understood my care. He went above and beyond to care for me.

My wife Lynn was being treat for HER2 breast cancer which had spread to other parts of her body. The prognosis was not good and to read about it was quite depressing for us both. With the arrival of Dr Timothy Crook at the St Lukes Cancer Centre within the Royal Surrey County Hospital Guildford our outlook on Lynns condition was transformed. Mr Crook was something very unique. HIS bedside approach made you feel at ease by speaking to us in a language we both understood. Mr Crooks wealth of knowledge on treatments regimes and the drugs being used is unbelievable. He often mentioned about new drugs in the pipeline and made us feel totally at ease. He often said ‘ there is a lot of life left in you yet Lynn) How re assuring that was to us. Being under the care of this very special man and being cared for by Mr Crook was like meeting another person, similar to that person who lives above the clouds. Mr Crook is a miracle gift to us all and the NHS. I always remember him saying to us in his clinic “ I always listen to the patient” and he does. On one such consultation my wife mentioned a slight headache and immediately Mr Crook arranged for a head scan. That scan later revealed that Lynn had Leptomeningeal Carcinomatous. Another blow to Lynns health and outlook being grim if the Lepto matures. Mr Crooks swift action by arranging scans and radiotherapy to the head allows Lynn to be here today nearly 18 months after the Lepto diagnosis and 5 years on from the original diagnosis of terminal HER2 Breast, Lung, Liver, Bone and where next. Great it was that we met Mr Crook as our Oncologist. Then we told he was leaving for other pastures. The good life somehow always ends. Immediately I thought how fortunate Lynn was to be a patient under Mr Crooks care and his LED Nurse Sue Nash. In summary, Lynn was so lucky to have had Mr Crook caring for her, and others alike will have had his special unique approach to Cancer Patients. Our NHS Is great and Mr Crook is one who makes it the way. Thank you Mr Crook for all you have done for us and how lucky others are to have such a special person taking care of them. I hope we have the pleasure to meet you again. Lynn now on trail chemotherapy. Kindest regards, Danny.
