I went to the GP to chase up my heart check-up appointment at hospital. I had not seen Dr Buck before and it was obvious he had not read my notes. He told me he did not know that I had had a heart opertaion 5 years ago and knew nothing about my medical history. He told me that if I wanted to chase up the appointment I would have to write to the hospital myself. He was very flippant and dismissive and gave me the distinct impression I was wasting his time. I tried to discuss my blood pressure concerns and he told me I should use the self test machine on my way out and put the print out in the box. I was astonished at his behaviour. I will never see this GP again. I ended up writing to my Heart Surgeon myself.
