I went to a and e with severe abdominal pain and going to the loo over twenty times a day and passing blood. I was there for over 8 hours when I was seen by this doctor. Dr Yapp. He Didn't do anything, no tests and didn't seem concerned. Felt my stomach that was it. I have ulcerative colitis and I made him aware of this. I was sent away with a buscopan prescription which I could not get as I had waited the entire day and now all the pharmacies were closed. So basically sent home in severe pain and to carry on suffering. When I could have been extremely close to my bowel perforating , who would have known? The following week I was admitted to hospital and needed IV steroids immediately and was very close to emergency surgery which I only avoided by trying a new medication first !
