The Consultation on 16/09/2025 was very informative and reassuring. Dr Webb has a very kindly manner and answered all of our questions with great care. showing us on screen the area of my brain affected by the bleed and subsequent reductions of the; bleed after further scans. He is an excellent asset to your hospital and after his kindness and very professional approach. We left the hospital with a sense of wellbeing and calm. His approach to patients is excellent. My wife an daughter fully endorse my comments

In A&E he listened, sized up the situation, and took quick action. He explained what he felt was the problem, and after the scan returned to explain the results. My husband was admitted for observation. The follow up outpatient appointment was exceptional. He listened, explained, made suggestions for the future, gave help about the completion of a DVLA form and advised on what action we should take re driving. He completely included both of us in the discussions, was calm and quiet, and at no point did we feel that we should hurry up and conclude the appointment. I can't think of anything we could suggest that would have improved our experience of Dr Tom Webb, and I wish he could give lessons to other doctors and medical staff in how to deal with and include the patient! We all hear negative things about the NHS but this was a positive example of very good involvement with patient and wife.

I was referred by my GP following protocol for symptoms possibly linked to a stroke via the TIA clinic at the WHH. The pre appointment checks were carried out very professionally by the clinic staff who made me feel at ease and explained the process that would be followed that day. I was then seen by Dr Webb who instantly made me feel comfortable, listened to my initial reason for the referral and asked lots of questions. He did not interrupt me and I could see he was making lots of notes regarding the symptoms I had. He examined me and was able to also look at some of the results of the blood tests that had already come back that were taken before the clinic started. He was professional and courteous throughout the consultation. He explained his expected diagnosis and asked if I had any further questions. Would recommend.

Dr. Webb was very patient and thorough at my first appointment with him .We talked at length and I in no way felt rushed .He explained what the procedures would be and that he would let my Doctor. know what was happening and would write to me as well. After my first consultation he rang me at home to arrange further visits. I am extremely impressed with how quickly my appointments came ,within 3 days of seeing my doctor. Indeed all the staff have been excellent, full marks to every one. After having a second procedure within 3 days of the first he again rang me at home to make sure that I had all the results, which Dr. Cregg had indeed given me. Dr. Cregg was excellent as well, as was Kerry the nurse who was with me and my family all day . Excellent treatment all round.Thankyou to all the doctors and nurses you all made my 2 days at the hospital a lot less stressful than it could have been.

My 28yr old husband is under the care of Dr Webb following an unexpected stroke last year. Dr Webb always makes sure we fully understand everything before we leave. Clinic can sometimes run extremely late which I assume this is because of over booked clinics but he never shows that he is stressed or rushed. Always a very caring and understanding manner.
