Dr Gayton has provided absolutely fantastic care for my husband over many months. He always listens carefully to my husband and treats him with respect and sensitivity. Dr Gayton always takes the time to reassure him and explain things clearly. His great skill and efficiency as a GP has enabled us to follow up with other services and support as quickly and easily as possible. His concern for me as well has made a very difficult time just that bit better. The only thing left to say is a big thank you!

I went to see Dr. Gayton with my son, and I was struck by how sensitively and thoughtfully he handled the consultation. He took the time to hear in depth not only about his symptoms, but he also listened to how my son was feeling. I felt he was very empathetic and his explanations were clear and appropriate for my son's age.

He has given me really good advice and I trust his judgment with my care. I can't thank him enough

Dr Gayton listened to what I had to say and gave me plenty of his time. He was very easy to talk to and discussed my health queries to my total satisfaction. I left feeling I had been treated very well and felt his advice was well grounded. If I have any health problems in the future I would want to see him.

I had a recent bout of depression and anxiety during which time I had suicidal thoughts. I was very worried about expressing this to another person. Dr Gayton was sympathetic and practical in his advise, support and treatment and made me feel at ease talking with him. I have worked in the NHS in clinical roles since 1976 and observed many doctors working. Dr Gayton is an example of excellent clinical practice and judgement provided within a very humanistic approach. My suggestion is to attach medical students to sit in his surgery with him to learn how to listen and talk with people.
