HAPPY NEW YEAR DR TERESA DOHERTY!!!! I first met Dr Teresa Doherty just over a year ago when referred from Orthopaedics because of the severity of pain that I have been experiencing for many, many years. Dr Doherty is one of the most compassionate Consultants that I have ever met at BHRUT. Dr Doherty has a clear vision of the PRIDE values of how patients should be treated just like back in the day. In how she has dealt with and treated me, she's obviously of the mind set in helping patients above and beyond to achieve a complete and full diagnosis, to be able to treat/help the individual as one whole person and even explain what the outcome of the test results mean. Although I am a staff member here but suffering with multiple disabilities and long term conditions that incapacitate, leave me in excruciating pain all over my whole body, sometimes to the point of attending A&E via Ambulance and being admitted, As my treating consultant Dr Teresa Doherty has at every appointment treated me with the utmost respect and dignity, even whenever I meet her in the corridor briefly. Teresa Doherty showed me a lot of care and compassion at the appointment today. Listened to me thoroughly and was extremely helpful about my condition. I would recommend this Dr who also gave me the time and explanation I needed.

One of the most friendly doctors I have met in 81 years, She was interested in my case and explained what she could do for me in simple english. Her examination was not rushed and helped me understand my condition
