The rudest most condescending man I have ever had the displeasure of being in the same room as. I couldn’t get an appt at my GP and was in lots of pain due to an extensor tendinitis in my left foot (I’ve had this once before so know what it is). I had tried resting and icing it for three days with ibuprofen and last night didn’t sleep at all because of the intense pain. He was clearly put out that I had self-diagnosed, despite the fact that the form you fill out asks you to do so. I couldn’t walk and he stood at the end of the hall waiting for me impatiently, while ANOTHER PATIENT helped me gather my things. When I went in, he opened with ‘Do you have training in this area?’ ‘Oh, you don’t, I see, interesting, interesting’. He dismissed what I know it is, and looked me up and down, and then said ‘Looking at you, I’d suggest it’s probably gout. Do you drink a lot’. Honestly I was left speechless. This is a disgusting inappropriate interaction between any two people, let alone a Doctor and Patient. Incredible.

I attended the walk in center because of an ongoing issue that flared up, and have been unable to book a GP appointment for months and it really needs looking at. Refused to even examine the condition (when the form said this was a condition that was appropriate for the walk in center). I told him I had been using a specific over the counter medicine that hadn't worked. Wrote me a prescription for that very same medication and said "you should have used [a treatment I'd never heard of up to that point], bye now", then turned around and faced his computer without saying another word. There was no one waiting to see him at that point in time, I was the only one in the clinic so I don't know why I was rushed out of the door like I was. So overall not great, the issue in question was causing me a lot of bother but it was dismissed.

He did not answer all of my questions. He was very dismissive. I asked him if he thinks my current condition then was what I feared it was, and he said he doesn’t think so. When I asked what he thinks it might actually be, he said he doesn’t know. He was not helpful at all. My condition was actually very obviously what I feared it was (it ended up being exactly what I feared it to be). When I asked him if he’s sure it’s not what I was worried it was, he went up to the door and opened it, when I wasn’t done speaking. When I repeated my question for clarification, he walked out and up to the waiting room door and held it open to get rid of me. He only saw me to get rid of me. He didn’t even ask me questions about my condition to get a sense of what’s going on. Complete waste of my time, energy and anger.

Asked a simple question about ecg diagnosis which he refused to give me ( ecg showed left axis deviation). He just said theres nothing to worry about. A patient has rights to know about his medical condition as detailed as he wants to whether or not it's something to be concerned about. Also ignored my symptoms. Apparently a sudden bradycardia (in my case a resting heart rate of 46) is completely normal these days.
