Haven't received informations I asked for. Looks like Doctor is not well informed. Rude attitude, not happy with my visit at all. Not recommended

I called out a GP after watching my partner have 15 minutes of rigors (indicating infection) following surgery 4 days earlier. I said I thought he had a kidney infection (I should know as I have had many) and that when I tested his urine using test strips it showed Leukocytes, Nitrites, Protein and blood - indicating a raging infection. To my horror she prescribed laxatives and liquid morphine for the agonising pain my partner was in and told us "there is no sign of infection". I felt like kicking her backside out of my door so As soon as she left I called paramedics. Doctors at RLI found that My partner had a huge abscess in his bladder and sepsis. Her incompetence could have cost him his life. I haven't the words to describe this level of incompetence and fear for any patient seen by her.

Worst experience I have ever had (will stick to my own local practice from now on). She was rude, disinterested, offered no guidance or advice, and when I had explained what was wrong actually said 'well what do you want me to do?', as if she expected me to tell her which medication I needed?! Eventually she just re-prescribed me some medication I had previously been on, (despite me informing her they previously did not work) as she couldn't be bothered to figure out which ones to put me on for herself. I have never been reduced to tears by a doctor before, and I certainly won't be again as I'll be avoiding Morecambe Health Centre and this particular doctor like the plague.

Dr Nicholson is the most thorough doctor at this practice. She has researched my husband's unusual medical condition and always makes sure that she gives him a physical check up each time she sees him. We always choose to see her as it is easier for the same doctor to monitor progress or decline and we will sadly miss her when she leaves . She is very efficient and has the medical notes and results from the hospital tests in front of her on the computer so she can explain them to you. She is one of the best doctors we have seen in a long time.
