Sylwia is an amazing doctor and I have sung her praises up and down the country. Now that I'm back in the town I was originally treated by her in, I am desperately trying to track down the surgery she show works in. As a child terrified of needles she went the extra mile to comfort me; as a teenager with an "unknown" continuous and painful condition she was the only doctor after 8 years of diagnosis to still have any interest in helping me get well again, as opposed to her colleagues who were happy to simply leave me undiagnosed with continuously stronger, highly addictive painkillers. When the reception team miswrote the date for an asthma check up, upon seeing that I was in the surgery to be seen but didn't actually have an appointment that day, she took time out of her lunch break to see me while in the surgery rather than have me return again the next day. I honestly cannot sing this woman's praises highly enough, she is one of very few doctors I have encountered that actually seems to be in the profession because she cares about people. I finally tracked down the surgery she was at at the back end of last year, only to find that she's moved again now! Please, if anybody knows where she is currently practicing I would desperately like to know.
