Dr Anandakrishnan is as professional as he is personable. From initial written communication to bed side manner he is very warm & assuring as well as being a skilled anaesthetist. I was immediately put at ease during my pre op assessment with all my questions answered & worries abated. When I next saw him in theatre I felt welcomed and reassured by his nice calm and friendly presence. I observed him connect so warmly with his colleagues too. It was the first time I’ve ever had a cannula inserted that didn’t hurt. It remained in for 24 hours without any discomfort or bruising. The cannula was carefully placed in my arm above my wrist which was so comfortable compared to the top of my hand. I mentioned I had previous surgeries where the anesthetic made me nauseas and he said he would make sure I had the right amount of anti-nausea meds. His careful titration resulted in no nausea post surgery which was great. If in the future I could choose my anaesthetist, Dr Anandakrishnan would be my absolute first choice. I felt very safe throughout the process.

Fantastic anaesthetic consultant. I felt so genuinely lucky to have Suresh supervising the anaesthetics for my c-section at St Thomas' hospital. He explained everything clearly both beforehand and during the procedure, was super nice and made me feel at ease after I was initially very nervous. He has a very calming bedside manner. I felt in incredibly safe hands. Thank you Suresh!
