It was a real pleasure to meet Dr Sukumaran today. He was kind, patient and caring. He listened and explained to me, making sure I understood. His care was brilliant. Thank you for all you do.

Dr Sunil Sukumaran is everything you could hope for in a rheumatologist - knowledgeable, professional, attentive and very pleasant. He is the first rheumatologist I’ve felt at ease with in years. And he made me feel like a real person, not just another patient.

Dr. Sukumaran is a lovely man. I saw him today at Royal Victoria Hospital, Folkestone.
He was very clear in his explanations. He listened to me. He answered my questions fully. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to see a consultant specialising in Rheumatology. He was kind and friendly but completely professional, putting his patient at ease from the outset.

I have been under Dr Sukimaran’s care since December 2015 - His care of me has been outstanding - I’m pretty confident when I say that I may have died if he hadn’t diagnosed my rare disease (Vasculitis) - Myself and my husband are so grateful to him.
I have every faith in his continuing treatment and am so pleased that he really listens to me and takes me seriously, he does what he can to ensure that I have the best quality of life that is possible - I can call and leave a message with the specialist nurses and I know that my query will be answered ASAP - I’m aware that if he dosen’t know the answer to a problem that I have he will liaise with other professionals, rather than shrug his shoulders, which to me is really reassuring - The William Harvey and myself are really lucky to have this professional Doctor in our area.

I have a complex condition, dr sukumaran has rung me personally to speak to me when I was going through a very bad phase, he is such a nice consultant when you see him for appts, I have very faith in him, I trust him in his decisions implicitly, he is the best.
